General Terms & Conditions

We want to make sure that you have the best possible experience with Abby Saddle Shop when you make online purchases. In order to get your order to you as efficiently as possible, we have the following policies & disclaimers in place. If you have any questions at all in regards to shipping & returns, feel free to contact us directly. We'd be happy to clarify things for you!

Shipping Policies & Disclaimers:

  • Please allow 3-5 business days for us to process and prepare all orders
  • Abby Saddle Shop will always do our best to ensure that your items are packaged appropriately and safely for transport
  •  Abby Saddle Shop uses standardized box and envelope sizes for shipping. We will do our best to use the most ideal packaging solution for the item(s) being shipped out
  • If the item you are interested in purchasing is set up for special order delivery, please call or e-mail us so we can give you the most accurate shipping information and time-frame for your order
  • All items will be shipped via FedEx
  • If you'd like a different shipment provider, please contact the store before placing your order so we can arrange this for you
  • All items that are purchased and already come packaged in a box (helmets boots, etc) will be shipped out in their original packaging in parcel paper. We will pad the original boxes to make them suitable for transport
  • We will contact you before shipping any oversized items. This includes but isn't limited to: items weighing over 20lbs, saddle purchases, or any odd shaped packages (like lunge whips, for example)
  • The purchaser agrees to pay for all additional expenses associated with sending items via registered mail and/or with insurance
  • We will not be responsible for any lost, broken, damaged or scratched items or packaging during shipping
  • Any claims must be made directly with FedEx
  • We will not be responsible for any temperature variances that products may be exposed to while shipping
  • All liquid items will be wrapped in a plastic bag before shipping. We will not be responsible for any temperature variances that liquid items may face during shipping. This includes but isn’t limited to: the freezing of products, and the expanding of products due to extreme weather conditions. All liquid products will be shipped at your risk
  • We will not be held responsible for any damage to saddles during transit. Any damages or claims must be taken up with FedEx directly
  • We currently offer shipping Canada-wide

In-Store Pick Up:

  • Available for residents of British Columbia only
  • Please wait to receive your courtesy phone call stating that your order is ready to be picked up before arriving at the shop
  • Orders will be held for pick up for a maximum of 3 days at the shop

 

Returns & Exchanges:

  • All returns, and exchange claims must be made within five (5) business days of receiving your item(s). All items must be in new condition, with the tags attached and a copy of the original transaction included in the box.
  • We will verify the time frame against the tracking information provided on the package
  • Any items that are sent back to the store without following any of the outlined steps above will not be accepted back.
  • Claims will be honored based on the original purchaser (customer) covering all shipping expenses to send the item back, and to receive their new item
  • Abby Saddle Shop reserves the right to refuse performing returns & exchanges at the discretion of management

      

Warranties & Defects on New Products:

  • Please contact the store via e-mail with: pictures of the defective item (at least two images of the item are required, and we may request more images as needed) and a picture of the original receipt, your name, address and an active phone number that we can reach you at
  • Absolutely no warranties or defect claims can be made without proof of purchase in the form of a receipt
  • Warranties and defects will be determined on a case by case basis as to whether the vendor is able to warranty the item or not
  • Abby saddle shop, as well as any vendors involved in the warranty or defect claim reserve all rights to refuse warrantying an item when necessary
  • Cases of extreme wear and tear, unusual use, or product abuse will not be warrantied, refunded or replaced
  • The purchaser (customer) must pay for any shipping required for their warranty or defect claim, which includes but isn’t limited to: shipping the original items back to the store and/or shipping the new item to the purchaser (customer)

  • Inventory amounts are subject to change at any time without notice
  • Saddle sales are a final sale
  • All special orders are a final sale
  • All sale items are a final sale. This includes any clearance items or promotional discounts that exceed 10% off
